The AC Milan shirt is one of the most recognized in soccer history. The new shirt takes fans back to two successful eras in team history. From 1950-1960, AC Milan won four Serie A titles. The crew neck and the red stripe down the middle was part of the jersey during that decade. The width of the stripes and font are taken from the decade starting in 1987-88. During that stretch, Milan won 17 trophies.

In a departure from last season's jersey, there are stripes on the front and back. Three red adidas stripes are on the shoulders. White is used for the embroidered adidas logo and the sponsor. The badge is sewn on. A small Italian flag is sewn on the back collar.
